Frontier Foundry and Ratloop Games are marking today’s release of time-twisting strategy-shooter Lemnis Gate with a launch trailer.

A unique cross of turn-based strategy and traditional arena FPS gameplay, Lemnis Gate promises to be a smarter take on your average shooter. Every match takes place within a 25 second time loop, with players taking it turns to place, move and react to previous turns. You can also tweak the rules, so if you want both players taking their turn at the same time, you can. If you’re after a more in-depth overview of how it all works, it’s worth checking the breakdown from a couple of weeks ago.

There’s seven operatives each with their own unique weapons and skills, twelve maps and four game modes out of the box. You’ve got the traditional Deathmatch, but also Domination, Seek and Destroy and Retrieve XM. There’s also a range of customisations to unlock to make your Operative stand out in the crowd.
