Frontier Foundry and KeokeN Interactive have announced a delay to their upcoming space adventure sequel Deliver Us Mars.

The news was revealed to fans in a tweet from the game’s official account. It called the game “KeokeN Interactive’s most ambitious project to date.”

“It is important to us that this experience is the best it can be at launch. With this is mind, we’ve collectively made the difficult decision to move the release date to 2nd February 2023 in order to ensure that we are able to live up to that ambition.”

“Whilst we understand this news might be disappointing,” they continued. “We are excited for you all to face the challenges of Mars, traverse its hostile environments, and discover the mystery of the ARKs. Your patience will allow us to deliver the best experience we can.”

Deliver Us Mars was announced back in March, and was originally expected to arrive in September of this year.

It’s the follow-up to 2019 adventure Deliver Us the Moon, but starring a brand new protagonist named Kathy Johanson. It also moves the action from the Moon to Mars, obviously.

In spite of the delayed release of Deliver Us Mars, the team has confirmed it intends to show more of the adventure at Gamescom. Specifically, it promises a brand new trailer during the Future Games Show next Wednesday.

Deliver Us Mars will now arrive on February 2, 2023 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.
