When it comes to Fortnite collaborations, very few artists have been requested more than Juice WRLD, one of the most popular modern artists who unfortunately passed away in 2019. Since then, both fans and his management have been keeping his legacy going with three new albums, as well as a documentary. The rapper still achieves over 29 million unique listeners on Spotify each month, making him one of the most popular artists in the world.

Due to this popularity, Fortnite players have been hoping to see his music come to the game as well as an Icon Series skin. After years of hoping, it looks like a collaboration is finally in the works.

Prominent Fortnite leaker HYPEX took to X to reveal that Juice WRLD’s manager has taken for a fan group chat to tease that the rapper could be set to come to the game soon. In the chat, the manager sent the following messages,

  • “One of the biggest things you been asking for is happening this year”
  • “6-7 Weeks … Something cool is happening”
  • “Tag me in any dances you would use as emote for Juice”

Although the manager doesn’t name Fortnite in the messages, using the word “emote” certainly hints at it. Other games feature emotes, but when it comes to gaming collaborations, Fortnite has been top of the list for many years with fans hoping to see Juice WRLD immortalized in the game.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 has already seen its share of collaborations, with Fortnite Festival Season 4 featuring Metallica, which has also included a concert event, a POI and items in the Battle Royale game, and the four metal icons brought to the game as skins. A new Pirates of the Caribbean mini Battle Pass is also set to launch on July 19th, bringing Jack Sparrow to the game.
