When is the release date of Horizon Call of the Mountain?

Horizon Call of the Mountain will be released on February 22, 2023, which is the same day as the PSVR 2’s launch date. Since the virtual reality console’s initial announcement, the Guerrilla Games-developed title had already been announced as one of the first titles that would immediately be available on it.

According to an early synopsis of the story, players will be given the chance to take control of a Shadow Carja rebel named Ryas. Throughout their adventure, they’ll be able to meet numerous new and returning characters from the main series, including the protagonist herself, Aloy. As Ryas, you’ll also be faced with the dangerous machines that were first introduced in the opening games.

Since Call of the Mountain is a spin-off title, you won’t need to have any prior knowledge of Zero Dawn and Forbidden West to play this game. There will naturally be a few easter eggs here and there, but it shouldn’t take away from the game’s experience as a whole.
