PSVR 2 to finally receive PC support in 2024

A recent blogpost from Sony has revealed that the PSVR 2 is going to receive PC support soon:

Also, we’re pleased to share that we are currently testing the ability for PS VR2 players to access additional games on PC to offer even more game variety in addition to the PS VR2 titles available through PS5. We hope to make this support available in 2024, so stay tuned for more updates.

While not much else has been said by Sony, all we really have to go off is that it’s coming at some point this year. On top of that, it’s not really clear whether the PSVR 2 is going to be running PS5-specific games via PC, or if PC exclusive VR titles will be available too.

The PSVR 2 saw a pretty shaky launch. When I reviewed it, I thought it was fantastic, yet the tech just wasn’t quite there. Headaches, a limited selection of games, and a pretty restrictive experience wasn’t enough to convince me that the few glimpses of VR briliance were wholly worth it.
