A Hogwarts Legacy Draco Malfoy collaboration event is in the works after a teaser trailer featuring actor Tom Felton was recently released by WB Games. Although the short preview didn’t initially explain what the collaboration was going to be about, the game’s official Instagram page has confirmed that they’ll be going on air with Tom Felton as he attempts to finish Sebastian Sallow’s questline in the game.

Unfortunately, with Harry Potter and Dumbledore not being included in the magical open world game, a Draco Malfoy appearance was always highly unlikely. However, this is the closest thing to a Harry Potter character appearance that fans will get so this should still please fans of the Wizarding World once it goes live.

If you plan on tuning in, you’ll be able to tune in to Tom Felton’s playthrough by heading to the official Hogwarts Legacy YouTube channel. The livestream will reportedly begin on May 9 at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM GMT, which means those in the US may have to wait until after the workday to watch it. With this in mind, you may be able to watch some of the highlights through the game’s Instagram account instead once it’s been posted after the event.

Keep in mind, though, that Tom Felton will only be playing through Sebastian Sallow’s story so you won’t actually see the entirety of the game being played. But, at the very least, this will give you the chance to see Draco Malfoy’s choices in one of Hogwarts Legacy’s most intriguing quest lines, which also happens to feature the use of the Unforgivable Curses.

If you haven’t played through the game yet, though, then we wouldn’t suggest watching the stream as it might spoil the plot for you. Instead, check out our how to catch a Thestral and how to cast Petrificus Totalus guides so you’ll have an idea on what to do during your own playthrough.
