Helldivers 2 leak shows “updated render” for weapon yet to be deployed

There are plenty of leaks for Helldivers 2. Most of them stem from datamines meaning they do exist, but that doesn’t guarantee they will become reality as some plans get scrapped or just never happen for whatever reason. Leakers have uncovered an assortment of guns through datamines, and a new Helldivers 2 leak shows an “updated render” for a weapon that is yet to be deployed to soldiers on the battlefield.

In regard to what’s official, Arrowhead has teased new content with “more mission types” guaranteed, and the HD2 CCO has said in a recent interview that vehicles will be “added soon”. While the prospect of new content is naturally exciting, players can also look forward to improvements for the DSS after making their disappointment known following its activation. Arrowhead are also planning crossovers, and the CCO has said that one particular collaboration would be the “sickest thing imaginable”.

While all of the above are aspects officially discussed by Arrowhead, in the world of leaks there exists a bountiful of weapons and emotes. Some weapon leaks date back to earlier this year, but they have been updated.

Helldivers 2 leak shows “updated render” for Lever Action Rifle

The Lever Action Rifle is a weapon previously leaked through datamines for Helldivers 2. It was initially unearthed by Iron_S1ghts and shared on the HD2 leaks subreddit eight months ago.

It hasn’t been introduced to HD2 yet, and we still don’t know if it ever will despite existing in the game’s files. However, while we don’t know if it ever will be added to the game, Iron_S1ghts has shared an image on X of the “updated render”.

Unfortunately, it’s just the model that has leaked, there are sadly no details about ammo count or any other values.

Hopefully it does get added to the game in the future, but there are no guarantees. Other recent leaks have shown more weapons for the inbound Illuminate, meanwhile, there is also old Dune weapons and armor speculated for a future Warbond.
