Arrowhead has released a new update for Helldivers 2. The previous patch resulted in a massive buff for the Quasar Cannon, and it also resulted in an unintended nerf for the Eruptor. While the HD2 Eruptor nerf isn’t alluded, the new Helldivers 2 update 01.002.202 patch notes do include a fix for the Quasar Cannon bug and more.

Fixes
Crash Fixes, Hangs and Soft-locks:
- Fixed an issue with the game crashing when players using legacy software drops into a mission
- Fixed a crash after exiting the armory when switching from certain weapons
- Fixed an out-of-memory crash that would occur when a large amount of particles were present
Weapons and Stratagems
- Fixed some shooting and reloading issues with laser weapons
Social & Multiplayer Fixes
- Fixed an edge-case allowing some mismatching game versions to still connect to each other
Missions
- Fixed an issue on Illuminate Defend Evacuation Site missions where illuminate dropships stopped coming if too many were destroyed before they dropped off the enemies
Miscellaneous Fixes
- Fixed white boxes showing in rare cases in the Super Store
While this new HD2 update appreciated, there’s plenty else to look forward to in the future. Recently, leaks revealed Arrowhead is set to implement a huge max level increase, and reaching the very top of the mountain will require an insane amount of XP.
