We’re all awaiting the eventual arrival of the Illuminate, and new leaks have shown “Illuminate Gravitational Monoliths” and more ahead of the invasion. However, while the full fleet of squids is anticipated, HD2 fans are also excited by the prospect of a new maximum level cap. Leaks have appeared about this before, but an update to the Helldivers 2 max level increase leak shows how much XP will be required to reach the new cap.
Helldivers 2 max level increase and XP leak
Previously, Helldivers 2 leaker, Iron_S1ghts, revealed that Arrowhead are looking to increase the maximum level cap from 150 – 200. At the time of posting the leak back at the end of March, Iron_S1ghts included XP valuations over 14,000,000 that were definitely placeholders.
Now Iron_S1ghts has updated the max level increase leak by showing the required amount of XP which is still really high but much more reasonable. Below are the levels and required XP:
- Level 151 – 1,168,401 XP
- Level 152 – 1,190,069 XP
- Level 153 – 1,212,140 XP
- Level 154 – 1,234,620 XP
- Level 155 – 1,257,517 XP
- Level 156 – 1,280,838 XP
- Level 157 – 1,304,588 XP
- Level 158 – 1,328,776 XP
- Level 159 – 1,353,407 XP
- Level 160 – 1,378,489 XP
- Level 161 – 1,404,030 XP
- Level 162 – 1,430,035 XP

Remember that none of the above is official. In addition, Iron_S1ghts has said, “These values were taken from an unfinished version of the game, so there will likely be some variation on release”. While variations are plausible, “For now this can give you a good point of reference,” and “You can expect level 200 to land between 2,700,000 and 2,900,000”.
There is no ETA for when the max level increase will arrive, but hopefully the update isn’t too far away.
