Since Helldivers 2 launched there has been a few new enemies come to the game, with most seemingly appearing out of nowhere and catching players off guard. With such a rich and deep history in the first game, which is nine years old at this point, there are a lot of enemies that could be reworked into the sequel. The original game was a very niche title, so these enemies would be fresh to the majority of the community. One enemy that players are looking at as being one they want to see return is the Cyborg Hounds, a menacing robot dog that roams in packs.

U/Charlz4-PS4 took to Reddit to suggest that the Cyborg Hounds from the first game be added to Helldivers 2 saying,

“Imagine in those jungle/vegetation levels… Hearing “bark bark” and going nuts looking at the ground because you don’t know where those 3 mutts are.”

U/Adraius shared an idea for how they could be brought in using Drop Ships, which makes them sound even more menacing and it would strike fear into the Helldivers 2 community.

“I think their aesthetic could be pretty dope. Drop Ship flies in and drops this big black brick of metal. Then the kennel doors drop open, and 4-8 mecha-canines with glowing red eyes pour out of every side, searching, then wheeling towards nearby Helldivers with slavering jaws. May Democracy Protect.”

As the Galactic War rages on, both the Automatons and Terminids will have some tricks up their sleeves to catch Super Earth off guard and turn the tide in their favor.
