We are close to the reveal of the next Warbond for Helldivers 2, and we are also only one week away from what seems poised to be a significant date for the game. Regardless of what happens in the imminent future, there will continue to be more content from Arrowhead as they have pledged to support the game for several years. Such new content could possibly include an exciting new biome if a Helldivers 2 loading screen tip is to be believed.
Helldivers 2 loading screen tip possibly teases new biome
As shared by prominent Helldivers 2 YouTuber, Glitch Unlimited, there is a loading screen tip that appears in the game when descending onto a planet.
The loading screen tip reads as follows:
“Difficult terrain inhibits your movement. Best practices recommend avoiding Snow, Mud, Water, Shrubberies, and Lava. For a complete list, see Manual Section D.198-2.”
All of the elements and conditions mentioned above are in the game, except for lava. This could possibly be teasing the addition of a lava battlefield at some point in the future, but this is by no means official.
A lava biome would look fantastic, and it would presumably be scary to manoeuvre and battle on as just one unlucky rag doll or poor execution of the jet pack could result in death via lava bath. It’s by no means part of Arrowhead’s official plans for the future, but here’s hoping it does get added.
