The release of Helldivers 2 on Xbox consoles is now only one week away. Teasers have suggested we might be getting a crossover with Halo, and we cannot wait for Microsoft recruits to join the battlefield. In other exciting news for the HD2 community, leaks have spilled the beans on new Cultists for Helldivers 2 D10 to D2+ difficulty, promising it’s “incredibly fun”.

Helldivers 2 leak shares new Illuminate Cultists for D10 to D2+ difficulty

On X, prominent Helldivers 2 leaker, Iron_S1ghts, revealed new Cultists summoned by even more new Illuminate cultists. They have also just recently revealed details about new Illuminate Cultists as part of D10 to D2+ difficulty.

Per Iron_S1ghts, “As difficulty goes up, shield health does as well,” and “The cultists are mostly low health, high damage [with] Lots of abilities that can one-shot you”. According to the leaker, Outcasts, Observers, and Xenobites spawn on all difficulties, meanwhile, below is the hierarchy of units:

  • Illusionist – D7+
  • Summoner, Sentinel – D4+
  • Magus (Wizard) – D2+

After seeing some concerns from fans in reply to the leak, Iron_S1ghts posted, “From the time I’ve had to observe the cultists (With likely outdated stats) It has been incredibly fun, and I find that each unit compliments each other well. Are they challenging? Yes, but it was very fun. I wasn’t getting thrown all over the place, and the times I did die, was due to my own misjudgment”.

The leaker ended with, “I commend AH on what we’ve seen thus far and can’t wait to see what they’ll be like on full release”.

Previously, Iron_S1ghts leaked the Sentinel as a new enemy whose “eye fires a beam that has 3 separate firing modes, Horizontal, Vertical, and Erratic,” with players able to “disable the beam ability by breaking the Sentinel’s eye, to which it will start arcing electricity”.

The Illusionist is a returning foe from HD1, meanwhile, the Outcast is reportedly a “sniper and a close-range assassin” with the ability to “teleport into battle dual wielding blades or staying at a long range and sniping”. Lastly, the Xenobite is a “Much weaker, [but] much faster variant of the Overseer,” and, supposedly, it “can ‘phase’ to move extremely fast, while being temporarily invulnerable”.
