The new Helldivers 2 Control Group Warbond has just come out, and in the very near future HD2 is coming to Xbox consoles. We don’t know what will accompany the Xbox release, but there are likely big plans from Arrowhead. Recently the developer has implemented bot cities with the new War Strider enemy, and now a leak has unveiled Maximum Security Cities that Helldivers 2 players will need to construct in the future.
Helldivers 2 Maximum Security Cities leak
Iron_S1ghts has revealed a Major Order for the future. Per the leaker, “At some point we will be constructing three ‘Maximum Security Cities’, likely related to a Major Order story point”.
In the screenshots, the three Maximum Security Cities are named New Hope City, New Aspiration City, and New Yearning City. Each screenshot has the following description: “One of 3 Maximum Security Cities. Impregnable to Tyranny; the future of the Federation”.
Unfortunately, there’s no other details shared. Asked whether these Maximum Security Cities will look different, Iron_S1ghts responded, “Right now, it just looks to be lore related”.
Meanwhile, on their Astral Rift Discord, Iron_S1ghts said they “Seem to be used specifically for story purposes, but they [Arrowhead] might put things on it in the future”.
All the screenshots also mention that they are on Terminid planets, however, this may just be a placeholder. In addition, there’s no ETA for when these Maximum Security Cities will be constructed. Purely speculating, it’s possible they could be used for setting up the battlefield for when HD2 comes to Xbox on August 26th.
