There is a lot to anticipate for Helldivers 2. Right now, Arrowhead has the released the update 01.002.200 patch notes, and they include a slew of weapon buffs and nerfs. In addition, we also have an imminent release date for a new Warbond inspired by the wild west. As if all of this wasn’t enough, a fresh Helldivers 2 leak has revealed a deadly new sub-faction “equipped with flamethrowers”.
New Helldivers 2 sub-faction leak
Helldivers 2 leaker, Iron_S1ghts, has revealed details about a new sub-faction called The Incineration Corps. According to the leaker, “This is a flame-focused automaton sub-faction”.
Per an in-game screenshot shared by Iron_S1ghts, The Incineration Corps are “An Automaton unit equipped with flame throwers,” and they are on Matar Bay where “incendiary ammunition is active”.
It’s also warned that “These wanton arsonists will not rest until they have razed all that humankind holds dear”.
Iron_S1ghts also reports “Most of the units will make use of Incendiary weaponry,” with the following listed:
- Incendiary MG Devastator
- Pyro Troopers
- Conflagration Devastator
- Hulk Firebomber
Lastly, there is an in-game screenshot that shows “All automatons have a white/red color scheme on Incineration Corps operations”.
Going back to an old leak dating back to February, Arrowhead has now added “Bulk Fabricators” into Helldivers 2. The old leak revealed that these are a “A large scale fabricator that deploys units from both sides”.
There aren’t many other leaks for HD2 right now, but weapon modifications have recently resurfaced. In addition, it’s been discovered that these weapon modifications actually appear in the game’s opening cut-scene.
