While Arrowhead has shared shocking Helldivers 2 player stats, and fans have discovered a way to get free Super Credits, HD2 leaks have pretty much dried up. While there has been a lack of leaks since the potential reveal of the next crossover Warbond, a new leak has just emerged, and it shows modifications that will make your Helldivers 2 Liberator “cooler and efficient”.
Helldivers 2 shows Liberator modifications
On the HelldiversLeaks subreddit, reliable leaker Tier5NPC has shown an ensemble of Liberator “specific modifications”. It’s said that these will “make your Liberator all the more cooler and efficient”. You can check out the gallery in the embedded Reddit post below:
Unfortunately, there are no statistics provided, but it’s reported that “each attachment affects the way the weapon handling feels”. With this leak, there is the disclaimer that these modifications “could also simply be weapon parts designed for other planned weapons since a lot of weapons in your arsenal do in-fact originate from the base liberator”.
In addition to the above disclaimer, there’s also a reminder that this is a leak and “it does not show in any way or form the final product of what AH has planned for the weapons customization feature”. There’s also the possibility that this is something that never comes to fruition.
Reacting to the leak, there’s a lot of excited replies on Reddit. Fans are happy that Arrowhead’s “approach to weapon camo is realistic,” and that’s because the community wants guns that look and feel authentic, rather than a “gold plated Liberator” and “pimp gun”.
Players are also hoping “AH hurry up and release something for weapons so we can really diversify our loadouts”. Another user said, “A liberator with a bayonette and an AMR scope would make me the happiest helldiver ever”.
