Whispers are abound that Halo Infinite‘s multiplayer portion may get some story-based content soon, according to job listings posted by 343 Industries.

Gamespot spotted the listings over the weekend, including one for a writing director position at the studio. Originally posted back in January, they’re asking for someone who is “passionate about serial storytelling” for the role. Specifically, the chosen applicant will be creating “highly innovative and engaging serial narrative content.”

A number of other roles on offer on the board paint a similar picture. They include a Monetization Designer who will “focus on in-game initiatives to drive player engagement and long-term player progression”. Meanwhile, a Multiplayer Designer will “concept, design and implement multiplayer game modes and features from the ground up.”

343 Industries launched Halo Infinite‘s multiplayer for free as a surprise a month before the game’s main campaign. The first season is still currently ongoing, and looks set to continue until May. Hopefully at that point, the game’s campaign will get it’s long-awaited co-operative mode, although we’ve not heard much about what’s in store for multiplayer. So far, we have had it confirmed that Season 2’s season pass will include a way to earn credits.

Halo Infinite is available now on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC and you can check out our review right over here.
