Warner Bros. Interactive has released a Gotham Knights gameplay trailer, featuring Nightwing and Red Hood.

The description reads:
“In this first reveal of Nightwing and Red Hood’s official gameplay, get a closer look as these Knights seek to uncover the mysteries around the elusive Court of Owls while putting a stop to the various factions attempting to exert their own control over Gotham City.
Through these Knights’ distinct abilities, fighting styles, traversal, and team up opportunities, how will you Step into the Knight?”
As you can see, Nightwing is now much truer to his name. It used to be that he swung about on a grappling hook, as he did when he was Robin. Now, though, he has a nifty glider—a bit like the Green Goblin from Spider-Man. The glider is called “the flying trapeze.”
Also, Red Hood is amusing, because he just has guns. What’s more, he appears to jump around the skyline on balls of glowing energy. The developer explains that this is because “Red Hood gained new abilities after being resurrected by an assassin cult. Right… okay.
During the trailer, it was also revealed that Gotham Knights is no longer coming to last-gen consoles, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This decision was made, apparently, “to provide players with the best possible gameplay experience.”
Gotham Knights is out on October 25th, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
