Warner Bros. Interactive is no longer releasing Gotham Knights on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.
The game will only be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and, of course, PC. The publisher hasn’t really explained the decision in great detail. It was supposedly done in order to “to provide players with the best possible gameplay experience.”
The news arrived alongside the new trailer, which features gameplay of Nightwing and Red Hood beating people up.
Check out the trailer below:
The description reads:
“In this first reveal of Nightwing and Red Hood’s official gameplay, get a closer look as these Knights seek to uncover the mysteries around the elusive Court of Owls while putting a stop to the various factions attempting to exert their own control over Gotham City.
Through these Knights’ distinct abilities, fighting styles, traversal, and team up opportunities, how will you Step into the Knight?”
In other recent Gotham Knights news, the game’ co-op could be expanding to four players. According to a listing on the PlayStation Store, the game will include “up to 4 online players with PS Plus.” It was news that that was news to me; I just assumed that the game would have four-player co-op. Apparently, it was previously known only to have two-player. So there you go.
Also, if you didn’t know, Nightwing now flies around using a glider, like the Green Goblin from Spider-Man. So check that out.
Gotham Knights is out on October 25th, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
