Looking to grind out the new season till the last day? We’ve got you covered. Continue reading to find out when the Fortnite season ends.
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 was released on August 25. With the name of Last Resort, this season included a new spy-themed POI on the map as well as the usual batch of new weapons, new skins, new augments and, of course, a new battle pass. All good things must come to an end, however, so people are asking, “When does the season end?”
Not to worry, we’ve got the answer for you right here.
When does the current Fortnite season end?
The current Fortnite season, Chapter 4 Season 4, will end on November 3, 2023 at 11am PT/2am ET/7am UK time.
Players will have less than three months to make their way through the battle pass, and unlock all the rewards, including the new Khaby Lame skin along with the TikTok star’s iconic hand gesture. Once November rolls around, so then surely will another season as Fortnite updates typically last between 10-12 weeks. Naturally, it brings with it an entirely new set of skins, weapons, cosmetics, and game changes to contend with.
What day will Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 end?
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 is reportedly scheduled to end on Friday, November 3, 2023. This marks exactly 10 weeks from the beginning of the current update, which has been the usual timeline for previous Fortnite seasons.
Is there a downtime for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4?
By going off previous season launches, it’s expected that the game will go through a maintenance period prior to the new season launching. This should only take a few hours at the most, after which you’ll be able to jump in once you’ve finished downloading and installing the patch.
When does Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 start?
Whilst no date has truly been officially announced for Season 4 of Chapter 5, we can only give you predictions.
Generally speaking a season ends on one day – and after a few hours of downtime, the next will start one day later. This optimises playtime and makes sure fans are not waiting for too long.
However, there is also sometimes a short overlay between the two seasons so that developers can check for bugs and iron out any creases,
For this reason, we predict that Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 will begin on Saturday, November 4, 2023.
However, Epic has been known to change the date of the next season before the previous one has ended – for example the date of Chapter 4 Season 1’s conclusion was brought forward by two days. So bear that in mind, but we’ll try and keep this page up to date should we hear of any changes.
For now, go out and enjoy Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 – you can check out all of the changes that have been made next in our latest patch notes piece. You can also read our guide on the best Fortnite controller settings here.
