With Fortnite’s 3.99 update for Chapter 4 Season 4 also comes a new set of patch notes. They highlight new POIs, Ahsoka skins among new characters, and a whole new faction.

Players had been heavily anticipating the new Fortnite update for a while, though the early hours of this morning will be bringing forward the patch. Alongside that, Epic Games have officially announced the contents of the “Last Resort” update. The suave vampire Kado Thorne is poised as this season’s antagonist, in which players will be looting and raiding his estate to thwart his evil plans.

New characters include a burly fish, a pizza delivery girl, and Tik Tok’s viral Khaby Lame, among a host of other unique stories. Finally, although not available just yet, Star Wars’ Ahsoka Tano will be making an appearance with the TV show kicking off fully a few days ago.

There’s three new POIs in Fortnite now: Sanguine Suites, Relentless Retreat, and the Eclipsed Estate. Each is filled with equipment and consumables, and valuable items too. It’s likely that each will be filled with henchmen and traps – with the season’s antagonist Kado Thorne likely to be found in one of them.
