Another Fortnite season is slowly coming to an end. Chapter 5 Season 2 will conclude in less than three weeks, and Epic Games has already prepared content for the next one. With the season ending soon, many Fortnite players are wondering if there will be another live event, and our article has everything you need to know.

Over the past six and a half years, Epic has had more than 10 live events in Fortnite. Unfortunately, they’ve become quite rare over the past few seasons, which is why the community no longer expects them to come out every season.

Will we have another Fortnite live event at the end of Season 2?

The Greek mythology-themed season will come to an end on May 24. Epic is already gearing up for a new season, and the first Season 3 skin has already been leaked. On top of that, the latest update added a lot of other interesting files, including files for a new event. Due to this, many players believe that a live event will come at the end of this Fortnite season. However, that may not be 100% accurate.

The next Fortnite event is indeed scheduled for the end of the season. The only thing is that it’s not a live event. Instead, this will be a longer in-game event that will be used to conclude Season 2. This means that you won’t have to get on at a specific time to witness the event. Instead, it will be active for at least a few days.

The last event that we had was Pandora’s Box and its opening. The entire community had to work together to break the chains of the box and knock it down. This Fortnite event wasn’t live, but it was used to introduce us to Season 2. According to leaks, Epic Games will do a similar thing at the end of the current season.

To sum it all up, there will be no live event at the end of this Fortnite season, but we will have an in-game event. Considering that Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 will begin shortly after the conclusion of this event, we expect it to begin in a week or so. However, Epic hasn’t confirmed anything yet, and all of this information comes from leaks.
