Machiavellian management simulator Evil Genius 2: World Domination is heading to console, developer Rebellion has announced.
The game, which originally launched on PC earlier this year, tasks you with running your own secret lair to manifest your desires in taking over the world. Along the way, you’ll recruit & train henchmen, building traps and fending off do-gooders trying to thwart your dastardly schemes. Naturally, evil plots need resources, so you’ll also take on smaller missions for infamy and to build your Doomsday device.
You’ll play as one of four evil masterminds, each with their own campaign and style of play. These include the rule-with-an-iron fist Red Ivan (voiced by Brian Blessed) and spymaster-turned-villain Emma, voiced by legendary Moneypenny actress Samantha Bond. There’s also mad scientist Zalika and the Blofelt-esque Max to pick from. The game also happens to be a sequel to the much-loved 2004 PC-only original by the since-defunct Elixir Studios.
You can check out a trailer for the Evil Genius 2: World Domination console announcement for yourself below. Though no specific date has been announced, the game is expected to land on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 in Q4, 2021. It’ll also be available via Xbox Game Pass on launch. Bring your own evil laughter.
