Rebellion has dropped a new video for Sniper Elite 5 ahead of its release later this week, this time focusing on stealth.

While, of course, long range shooting might be Karl Fairburne’s attack of choice, sometimes you’ll have to get in close. The team at Rebellion has taken great care in ensuring that not only will this be a more-than viable strategy, but it’ll also be an authentic one. You’ll have to observe and plan from afar, before you move in to execute your perfect plan.

All the stealth moves you see will have a degree of realism thanks to Military Advisor Paul Biddiss. He even strapped on a motion capture suit himself to perform Karl’s moves, which include actual moves given to SOE operatives. The video also lets us in on some new traversal mechanics Karl will have at his disposal to help you get close, including alternative routes. And if going lethal isn’t your thing, you’ll also have some non-lethal tools at your disposal to get enemies out of the way without bloodshed.

Sniper Elite 5 is almost upon us now, as it’ll launch this Thursday, May 26. The game will be available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC and will also be on Xbox Game Pass at launch. Check out the Sniper Elite 5 stealth focused spotlight below.
