Bird Call is a new Fortnite emote you can unlock for a limited time. The emote is only available in October 2024, so make sure you get it before it expires. The process is simple, and you can add the cosmetic item to your locker in less than a minute. In this article, we will explain everything you need to know about it.
How to get Bird Call emote in Fortnite
Bird Call is an emote that is not sold in the Item Shop. To get it, you will have to purchase V-Bucks in October 2024. Any V-Bucks purchase made directly from Epic Games counts for this, including the in-game store and V-Bucks gift cards. Unlike previous promotions, this one lets you purchase in-game currency straight from the game without gift cards.
It appears that the Fortnite emote is not currently available in every region, although Epic should fix this soon. Furthermore, some players reported that they haven’t received the emote after buying V-Bucks from the game, while it worked with a gift card.
According to Epic Games, you need to log into Fortnite between October 2 and November 1 to get the Bird Call emote. Due to this, if you purchase V-Bucks through the PlayStation Store, for example, you’ll also need to get into the game to receive the cosmetic item. If you don’t do this, you won’t receive the emote, despite your purchase.
The promotion ends on October 31 at 8 PM Eastern Time. This means that players from Pacific Time will be able to get the emote by 5 PM, while players from New Zealand will be eligible for it by noon on November 1. Furthermore, it’s important to note that Epic Games may release the Bird Call emote to the Item Shop at a later date, as it’s not exclusive to this promotion.
