The Epic Games store has returned to giving away free games on a weekly basis. Right now fans can pick up the excellent Guardians of the Galaxy before getting something new. While we already know the next Epic Games store January 2024 free game coming out this week, a leak with an 80% probability has revealed what’s likely coming on January 18th.
This year is shaping up to be another excellent year of video game releases. We have compiled a schedule of upcoming games for 2024, and there is a lot to anticipate in just the first quarter alone. Unfortunately, while Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League early access still arrives before the end of the month on PlayStation and Xbox, its Epic Games store release has been delayed to March.
While the delay of Suicide Squad on PC is unfortunate, the good news in contrast is that Epic is still giving away weekly free games. We’re no longer getting massive games such as Guardians of the Galaxy, The Outer Worlds, and A Plague Tale, but we’re still getting freebies worth checking out.
Epic Games store January 2024 free game leak
The leaked Epic Games store free game for January 18th, 2024 is LOVE. This comes courtesy of reliable leaker billbil_kun per their dealabs blog post. It comes with a self-proclaimed ‘80% probability’ so it’s highly likely but not completely definite.
It came out in 2014 and on Steam it has a very positive reception. Below is everything it features per the Steam description:

Before January 18th arrives make sure to grab Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy before 8 AM PT/ 11 AM ET/ 4 PM GMT on January 11th. It is an absolute masterpiece of a game that is enjoyable from beginning to end thanks to an excellent story packed with wonderful characters, witty writing, and stellar performances.
Guardians of the Galaxy will be replaced by Sail Forth. In contrast to the AAA visuals and storytelling of GotG, Sail Forth is a visually cute game set aboard a vessel exploring the sea. You can explore colorful isles full of treasure and creatures, and there is a terrible secret to uncover.
