The battle between Diablo 4 players and limited inventory space rages on as many continue to run out of slots at inopportune times due to the frustratingly common appearances of gems. However, it seems that another frustrating backpack-related issue has now surfaced as the limited space in the Consumables category is making fans wish that there was a separate pocket made purely for Nightmare Sigils.
Since Nightmare Sigils frequently get dropped by simply obliterating demons in Nightmare Dungeons, it quickly starts to stack up since players can only activate one sigil each time. It also doesn’t help that the Consumables tab is where the game’s wide array of elixirs are located so these two materials often take up a bulk of the slots found in this section of your inventory.
Much like the community’s suggestions for gems, some players have now taken to Reddit in order to offer a similar solution for this irritating conundrum. One particular post, made by a user named KentHawking, even included a message saying “Nightmare Sigils need their own pocket” along with an image of a frustratingly full Consumables tab.
Naturally, the post creator isn’t the only player to have experienced this problem as a disgruntled commenter said that “it’s so easy to have moved these to separate tabs. Like a copy paste in terms of coding.” Another user noted that “the quest tab is forever empty” once players reach the endgame, suggesting that this could be an alternative category to place Nightmare Sigils under instead in order to declutter the perpetually full slots for Consumables.
Luckily, Blizzard and the development team behind Diablo 4 has been incredibly receptive and responsive to player critiques and suggestions so this may end up being a feature at some point in the future. For now, though, you’ll just have to keep on going back to a stash so you can store your Nightmare Sigils each time.
