The “final” trailer for Death Stranding Directors Cut is here, aptly enough edited by the game’s director, one Hideo Kojima.

Set to the music of Woodkid’s Goliath, it lets us take another look at Sam Bridges and the gang in upgraded 4K quality. Of course, this new version for the PlayStation 5 includes a wealth of new additions. These include new tools for Sam to deliver his packages, a new race track and firing range and much more.

If you missed Death Stranding the first time around, here’s a brief primer. You play as Norman Reedus’ Sam Bridges, a man making his way across an America decimated by a mysterious event known as the Death Stranding. He’ll have to reconnect the country via the Chiral Network while he deals with villains Ugner and Higgs and other sci-fi shenanigans. And then there’s a Bridge Baby too, as you do.

Josh, who wrote our review of the original release on the PlayStation 4, can explain it better than I can. “Death Stranding is filled with things that must be seen,” he said. “A sprawling, genre-spanning sci-fi adventure from a developer like no other. Its tackier clumps of writing and stunt casting seem overwrought, but its direction and its stars shine brightest.”

Check out the trailer for yourself below. Death Stranding Director’s Cut lands on the PlayStation 5 on September 24.
