Capcom has become the latest publisher to announce it’ll be holding a digital showcase of its own next Monday.
As per the announcement, a livestream of the show will take place on Monday, June 13 at 11pm UK time. Fans will be able to tune in via the Capcom Twitch and YouTube channels for about 35 minutes of news and updates. However, to temper expectations, the company has said they’ll be delving into details and news for “previously announced titles”. So we probably won’t get any “new” reveals.
That being said, it’s not as if Capcom doesn’t already have a packed slate. Just in the past seven days it’s held the official reveals for two major long-running series’ latest entries. Both Street Fighter 6 and the Resident Evil 4 Remake were officially unveiled during PlayStation’s State of Play on Thursday.
There’s plenty of other titles fans will be waiting for updates for too. Most imminently we’ve got the Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak expansion and Capcom Fighting Collection both scheduled for the end of June. Looking to the future, there’s dinosaur action game Exoprimal. An update on the mysterious Pragmata wouldn’t go amiss either.
We’ll find out what Capcom have up their sleeves when the Showcase goes live on Monday, June 13 at 11pm UK time.
