Call of Duty MW2 has been out for a couple of months now, receiving a mixed reception from fans and critics alike. During those two months we have seen fans of the popular franchise calling for improvements to be made to certain aspects of the game.
One of the more recent requests from within the community is more interesting, as well as less serious, challenges to be introduced in MW2.
Challenges in MW2 are things like getting a 1,000 headshots or 500 hipfire kills, for the most part they’re all very gradual that you can pick away at over time. Yet, this isn’t necessarily what the community wants, so let’s take a look into what they have had to say.
Fans want Less Serious Challenges in Call of Duty MW2
The example given by the community, when asking for less serious challenges, was the Misery Loves Company challenge. This challenge would require you to kill an enemy, as well as yourself by “cooking a grenade without throwing it”.

This may not be the optimum way to play a Call of Duty game, but it would certainly make you think about your approach to the game, demanding you as the player try different things you wouldn’t normally do.
More Interesting Challenges Wanted by Fans
Alongside the less serious challenges fans have also been calling for more interesting challenges in MW2. If you look through the MW2 (2022) challenge list they consist of getting more and more kills with different milestones.

It seems as though what the community really wants are more creative challenges that really change the way you play the game and approach your objectives. There has also been some criticism towards just how unimportant calling cards are on this Call of Duty, another thing players would like to see changed.
