Black Ops 6 gameplay reveal trailer view count surpasses MW3’s in one day

The Black Ops 6 hype train is moving at full speed following Activision’s release of its highly anticipated reveal trailer. Predictably enough, reception towards the latest teaser has been overwhelmingly positive. However, nobody could have expected its wild success in such a short span of time, especially after the BO6 reveal trailer view count surpassed that of Modern Warfare 3…in just one day.

Some fans on Reddit noted that Black Ops 6’s rapidly rising view count is due to Treyarch’s involvement as its lead developer. For those unfamiliar, Treyarch had previously developed the original Black Ops games (the first four entries including Cold War), all of which were well-received by fans and critics alike. So, naturally, most hardcore CoD players have high expectations for BO6, as evidenced by the popularity of its reveal trailer.

Now, it’s no surprise that fans are going wild over Treyarch’s upcoming game since the last Black Ops entry (Cold War) was released four years ago in 2020. And aside from 2019’s Modern Warfare, Cold War happened to be one of the best-received CoD titles of the past few years. Of course, only time will tell if the hype matches the community’s growing expectations. But based on BO6’s steadily rising view count, it’s already off to a tremendous start.
