Baldur’s Gate 3 is one of the best games of the year for several reasons. It has amazing graphics, the turn-based combat is fun, the story is gripping, and your choices actually matter. Another reason everyone loves the game is because of the excellent companions. The drow Minthara often gets shafted because of the despicable things you need to do to recruit her, but this magnificent Baldur’s Gate 3 Minthara cosplay will give you the necessary dark urge to slay every tiefling in sight including Karlach.
The Game Awards 2023 start date and time is right around the corner, and Baldur’s Gate 3 is one of the titles up for Game of the Year. Not only is the Game Awards worth watching to see if it takes home the crown, but it is also worth watching to find the BG3 release date for Xbox. Microsoft players haven’t been able to enjoy one of the best games of the century let alone year, but that is all set to change relatively soon.
Everything about the game is incredible from the story and gameplay to the characters. Unfortunately, Minthara is a great and complex companion not many players have experienced due to fearing an evil playthrough.
Baldur’s Gate 3 Minthara cosplay
Instagram model and cosplayer narga_lifestream has shared an excellent Baldur’s Gate 3 Minthara cosplay. The photoshoot is based on her camp attire rather than base armor. It is a stunning one-to-one recreation of the in-game character model as well as her clothes. She looks identical to the drow with her pointy elf ears and pale purple skin, and the red contacts perfectly replicate the horror of her eyes that soon turn to sadness if you recruit her and learn more about her backstory.
The silver-white locks are tied up exactly like in-game, and she even has the small and easy-to-miss web tattoo on her neck. Then there’s the camp clothes which are astounding. She made the wig and clothes herself, and her Instagram post says that the attire was made out of 3mm foam and textured with Dremel and soldering iron. Clearly, a lot of work went into it, and the results are amazing as it’s a completely faultless recreation that looks identical to the camp garments. Even if you don’t recruit Minthara, you can loot her camp clothes after killing her.
Naturally, the comments are flooded with praise with one user saying it personifies Minthara’s deeply hidden fears and complex nature. There are workarounds to recruit her in-game, but the main way is by killing the tieflings at Camp Grove which also means siding against Wyll and Karlach. Karlach is one of the best romance options in Baldur’s Gate 3, but so too is Minthara so the choice is difficult.
Check out narga_lifestream’s Instagram page to see even more of her awesome cosplays. She’s most famous for portraying Ciri from The Witcher 3, but she’s also spellbinding as 2B from Nier and characters like Eula from Genshin Impact. Aside from Instagram, you can follow on her YouTube where she posts videos in full cosplay.
In other news, this smashing GTA 6 Lucia cosplay recreates the amazing new female protagonist. A stunning Final Fantasy 7 Tifa cosplay recreates her idle animations, and there’s an unbelievably good recreation of Kitana from Mortal Kombat 1.
