Amazon’s Black Friday deals are currently offering the Apple Watch SE 2nd Gen for one of the lowest prices to date. The smartwatch is available now for just $179 (was $249) for a total saving of $70 or 28% which we haven’t seen before.

The Apple Watch SE 2nd Gen is an excellent and affordable smartwatch for those already engrossed in the company’s ecosystem and should pair beautifully with an iPhone 15 or iPad. With a 44mm screen size and choice of either silver or midnight aluminium case, with a Storm Blue or Midnight sports band, you have some options here as well.

Apple Watch SE (2nd Gen)

GPS, Fitness and Sleep Tracker, Crash Detection, Heart Rate Monitor, 40mm screen size.

While the Apple Watch SE 2nd Gen may lack some of the flashy extras of its higher tier siblings, that’s not to say it isn’t absolutely packed with features. This smartwatch features all the essentials that you would hope to find from high-tech wristwear including GPS tracking, being able to send and receive calls and texts, as well as a range of features for workouts and mental health. All with up to 18 hours battery life.

There’s even a sleep tracker and a heart rate monitor which can help you to manage your vitals in an easy to understand way. That’s thanks to the redesigned watchOS 10 which is made to be simple and colorful. While the display isn’t quite as bright as some others in the line-up, at 1000 nits, it’s still plenty sharp enough for use in outdoor settings and indoor, too.

I’ve been an iPhone user for several years now, having the iPhone 14 Pro Max and then upgrading to the iPhone 15 Pro Max. I have been jealous of my girlfriend’s Apple Watch for some time, so considering it’s well under the $200 mark, now looks like the right time to finally invest in wearable tech of my own.

For deals on more wearables, we’re also bringing you the Black Friday Garmin deals and the Black Friday Google Pixel Watch deals if you’re someone who wants even more options today.
