WWE 2K24 – how to break the ring

Breaking the ring in WWE 2K24 is simple, and you can only do this in a one-on-one match. To break the ring, you have to use the right Superstars. This means you will need an opponent who is a Super Heavyweight; the bigger they are, the harder they fall, after all.

You will need to play as a Heavyweight character for this to work so that you are strong enough to pick up your opponent, and your opponent is big enough to break the ring on impact. First, position your opponent on the top rope of the ring. You will need to then perform a Superplex on your opponent who is in the corner, on the top rope, and stunned.

With your opponent stunned and in position, perform the Superplex to unceremoniously bash them into the middle of the ring, breaking the ropes and the entire stage in one crunch. Successfully pulling off this move will count as a Finisher and instantly win the match. It is recommended that you do damage to your opponent, preferably to stun them so they can’t counter your move.

The ring might not break on your first attempt and it could take a few tries before your Superplex causes it to collapse. Here is one method we used to get the ring break to work. It took a few tries, but it is definitely doable with these steps:

• Irish Whip your opponent into the corner (to do this, tap Circle to initiate a grapple, then tap Circle again while pointing the left analog stick towards one of the ring corners).
• Approach them in the corner, then lift your opponent onto the top turnbuckle by pushing the right analog stick up.
• Then, press X or Circle (whichever move is assigned as a Superplex – it could be both) to perform the Superplex.
• This will see you launch yourself and your opponent from the top rope onto the ring floor, which will buckle and collapse, with the ropes falling in around you.

With that, you will have won the match instantly by KO. Not a bad way to end a match, right?

As mentioned, only Super Heavyweight Superstars and Heavyweight characters can perform the ring break finisher. These are all the Super Heavyweight Superstars:

Playing against any of these and selecting one as your character will let you perform the ring break in WWE 2K24. You can’t do this with characters who are a lower weight, since they simply aren’t big enough to cause this much damage.
