How do you drag an opponent in WWE 2K24?
To drag your opponent, simply press Circle to initiate a grab and then L1 quickly after to start dragging. If you’re playing on Xbox, the button combo is B + LB, while on PC you can drag by pressing the L + U keys. This is exactly the same method for how to drag in WWE 2K23, which will make it easy for you if you’ve played these games before.
To pull off this move, simply approach your opponent while they are standing or lying down and press the button combo. While an enemy is on the floor, the method is exactly the same. Make sure you press the second button, though. Pressing Circle will only initiate the grab, and pressing L1 will let you drag your opponent.
While dragging someone, you don’t need to hold down any buttons and you can move them around as you please. You won’t have an easy time and be in full control, however, as the opponent can break out of it. While dragging, you can use L1 / LB to release the drag or press Square / X to do an Environmental Attack – such as slamming them into the side of the ring.
Drags are useful for positioning your opponent where you need them in the arena, such as setting up a Diving Attack from the middle and top ropes. Dragging is also essential to learn since it helps you use the pin win condition, to stop the ref calling a Rope Break.
