Although the community’s pleas mainly fell on deaf ears in past years, the CoD publisher has since relented after announcing its impending return to the popular battle royale mode.

When is Verdansk returning to Warzone?

Activision announced that Verdansk will return to Warzone in Spring 2025. Unfortunately, neither Treyarch nor the CoD publisher have stated an official release date, so you’ll have to remain patient on that front. However, we do expect more specific details to appear in the coming months, now that the Black Ops 6 release date is practically here.

Although rumors and speculation had been swirling throughout the community in the months (and even years) prior to the reveal, this is the first time Activision officially acknowledged its existence, so the fan base’s palpable excitement isn’t at all a surprise.
