Wondering how to sign up for the Tekken 8 closed network test? To help prepare the game’s online functionality, Bandai Namco are running a closed test in July to see how the game’s network quality stacks up with all the game’s new features.

It’s also the first opportunity many fans will have to have their first hands on with the game. So if you’re excited about testing out your main with the new game mechanics and incredible graphics, you’ll want to know exactly how to sign up for a chance to give the game a try.

Tekken 8 network test sign-up

To sign up for the Tekken 8 network test, you’ll want to head to the network test page on Bandai Namco’s website. Here, you’ll be provided with details on when the test will take place, the purpose of the test, as well as terms and conditions for signing up for the test.

At the bottom of the page is a link asking you to log in to your Bandai Namco account. Either log in or sign up to proceed to the next step. If you’re making an account for the first time, you’ll be required to provide some information such as a username, email address, country, and date of birth.

If you’ve logged in or finished creating your account, your request to join the closed test will go through and you’ll be given a confirmation on your browser. And that’s it, all you have to do now is wait for the signups to close at the end of June and hope that you’re one of the lucky few making it into the test.

Make sure to check your email once the sign-ups close, and especially your junk folders just in case your spam filter has been a bit over eager and filed your code into there. There’ll be instructions in the email how to redeem your code, and we’ll update with those once they’re confirmed.

Tekken 8 network test dates and platforms

The test will take place from 21-24 July on PS5 and from 28-31 July for PC and Xbox players. As the game is still in development, there is a limited Tekken 8 character list, but luckily it features some major fan favourites so hopefully your main character makes the cut.

Tekken 8 doesn’t have a release date just yet, but is likely to arrive towards the end of 2023 or early 2024. We’ll keep you in the loop as and when an official date is set.
