The King of Iron Fist is back, so when is the Tekken 8 closed beta? Ahead of the latest entry in the hit beat-em-up series’ release early next year, a bunch of players are getting their first hands-on with Tekken 8 this weekend.

We got wind of the Tekken 8 release date during Gamescom, and this latest test follows on from the closed network test earlier this summer. Here’s everything you need to know including when it takes place, platforms and how you can get yourself in.

Tekken 8 closed beta start date

The Tekken 8 closed beta starts on Friday October 20, 2023 and will kick off from 9am CEST (8am UK time).

It’ll last for the entire weekend, although there’ll be a brief period of server maintenance between 10am to 1pm CEST (9am to 12pm UK time) when the servers will be down on Saturday, October 21.

Tekken 8 closed beta end date

The Tekken 8 closed beta is scheduled to wrap up on Monday, October 23 at 9am CEST (8am UK time)

Tekken 8 closed beta how to sign up

There’s a few methods to get in, so read carefully. First off, if you already participated in the recent Closed Network Test for the game back in July, you don’t need to do anything. You’re already in, and will be able to continue playing in this test too.

Alas, if you’re hoping to sign up now for the beta, you may be out of luck. Players were invited to sign up at the following links, but they only had until Wednesday October 11 at 9am CEST (8am UK time) to do so.

If you did previously sign up ahead of that deadline – then be sure to check your email for a code. They’ve been handed out on a first come, first served basis, but we’ve heard of players still getting their codes as recently as this last week.
