Looking for help with the Tears of the Kingdom Secret Treasure Under the Great Fish quest? Deciphering the cryptic message in these ancient Zora texts can be tricky, so it’s not surprising that it’s proving difficult for many players. Luckily, the answer isn’t too far away.
While you’re in Zora’s Domain, make sure you’ve unlocked any nearby Tears of the Kingdom shrines, as well as completed the nearby Tears of the Kingdom A Wife Wafted Away quest, too. For now, though, let’s go through how to complete the Tears of the Kingdom Secret Treasure Under the Great Fish quest.
Secret Treasure Under the Great Fish quest guide
Before starting this quest, you’ll first need to have completed the Sidon of the Zora main quest, beating the Water Temple in the process. Once you’ve done this, head to the Throne Room in Zora’s Domain and talk to Sidon, who will mention a series of ancient texts he’s discovered.
The texts mention a ‘great fish’ and a ‘long bridge’, and passing beneath two waterfalls.. The fish and bridge in question are the giant fish statue at the heart of Zora’s Domain, and the Great Zora Bridge that leads into the city. Head down below the bridge, and you’ll find a waterfall. Swim through the centre of the waterfall to reveal a secret cave, aptly named Cave Under Zora’s Domain.
In here, you’ll find a cavern with a large chasm at the centre leading to the Abandoned Lanayru Mine. Ignore this, and head to the northern end of the room, where you’ll find the second of the aforementioned two waterfalls. Swim through here to find a small room with a stone chest. Open it to receive the Vah Ruta Divine Helm.
