Where is Hateno Village in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom? This returning location from Breath of the Wild is one of the main towns in the game, home to numerous side quests, items, and the Hateno Ancient Tech Lab owned by Robbie. As such, you’ll probably want to head there at some point during your adventure in The Legend of Zelda TotK.
If you’re looking for other key locations in the game, we have guides on the locations of Tears of the Kingdom Kakariko Village and Tears of the Kingdom Rito Village to help you with directions for navigating Hyrule.
Where is Hateno Village in Tears of the Kingdom?
Hateno Village is found on the South East side of the map, in between Mount Lanayru and the Necluda Sea, with the entrance being at the exact coordinates 3268, -2139, 0098.
How to get to Hateno Village in Tears of the Kingdom
This area is a bit out of the way, but there’ll be two paths you’ll probably want to follow to find it easily. The first, and the quickest, is that it’s just South from the Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower, so if you’ve unlocked that you can use the paraglider from that part of the mountain to glide down to the village. We have a full list of Tears of the Kingdom Skyview Tower locations, but this one specifically is found at coordinates 3846, -1307, 0539.
Alternatively, the Dueling Peak Stables towards the South of Kakariko Village is a good starting point. The coordinates for this Stable are 1747, -1921, 0010. If you need a horse you can grab one from the nearby fields and register it before you set off. You’ll want to ride East through the field, and in most weather conditions you should actually be able to see the Lanaryu Mountain Skyview Tower which you can use as a guide. You’ll eventually come to Fort Hateno and run into Monster Forces – ride past them, and keep following the path East. Follow the path around the river to your right side. You’ll reach a crossroad with a sign telling you to go left for Hateno Village. Simply follow the sign’s directions and you should find yourself at the entrance in no time.
If you want to know how to find more stables, we have a Tears of the Kingdom stable locations guide. If you’re trying to uncover the game’s story, we have a rundown of the Tears of the Kingdom Geoglyphs memory locations to help you piece together the plot in its entirety.
