Capcom has now introduced a Street Fighter 6 ranks list that you can progress through when participating in competitive matches in the Battle Hub. This will give players more incentive to play the game as each fighter will undoubtedly be trying their best to make it to the top of their respective divisions.

In order to reach the peak of the competitive SF6 mountain, though, you will naturally need to have the best controller settings already equipped so you can effortlessly execute your moves. You’ll also need to learn what the entire ranks list is going to look like so you know what your progression is going to be in the game. Luckily, we’ve listed them all down below so you won’t have to search any longer.

All Street Fighter 6 leagues and ranks

The Street Fighter 6 competitive leagues and ranks are made up of the following:

  • Rookie League (Rank 5 to 1)
  • Iron League (Rank 5 to 1)
  • Bronze League (Rank 5 to 1)
  • Silver League (Rank 5 to 1)
  • Gold League (Rank 5 to 1)
  • Platinum League (Rank 5 to 1)
  • Diamond League (Rank 5 to 1)
  • Master League (Rank 5 to 1)

There are a total of eight leagues – each with five ranks – that you’ll need to progress through in order to make it to the top. Fortunately, Rookie to Gold players can’t be demoted to a lower division so once you reach one of the first five leagues, you’ll essentially be staying there until you get promoted. However, your rank can still get demoted so you will still need to build a consistent win streak to advance.

Street Fighter 6 ranked placement matches explained

As soon as you toggle the ranked play functionality on in the Battle Hub, you will first need to play through 10 placement matches in order to determine your starting rank. But before you run the gauntlet, you’ll first be asked for your fighting game experience and the option you choose will end up being the league where you start off your competitive journey.

If you opt to start off as a Beginner, you will naturally begin in the Unranked/Rookie league and your placement matches will then determine your starting rank. If you choose either Novice or Intermediate, you would then be placed within the Bronze or Silver/Gold leagues respectively. Finally, Advanced players will be placed in one of the top three leagues, however, you won’t have any league demotion protection here so you’ll need to be sure of your fighting game abilities before selecting this option.

Now that you know what the entire Street Fighter 6 ranks list is going to look like, we suggest checking out our guides on how to change controls and how to taunt in Street Fighter 6 so you’ll be one step closer to mastering the fundamentals of the game.
