How old is Chun Li in Street Fighter 6? If you’ve been a longtime fan of Capcom’s popular fighting game series, then this is a question that you’ve undoubtedly had at one point. Unfortunately, the large number of main line games and spin-offs that the developers have released so far may have inevitably confused you as to what her actual age is.

Luckily, we’re here to clear things up so you can get back to representing your favorite martial artist from the Street Fighter 6 roster. So with that said, here’s what we know about Chun-Li’s birthdate and age in the latest installment.

What is Chun Li’s age in Street Fighter 6?

Chun-Li is approximately in her late 30s/early 40s in Street Fighter 6. Even though her birthdate is canonically on March 1, 1968, Capcom has largely been vague when it comes to providing personal information for their characters. The Street Fighter series’ timeline as a whole has also been iffy throughout the years as the main line releases haven’t necessarily followed a discernible pattern as to when the events take place.

Now, even though Street Fighter 6 was released in 2023, it’s unlikely that the game takes place in the same year since that would put Chun-Li’s age at 55 years old. So unless she’s somehow found the fountain of youth, her in-game appearance indicates that she’s still relatively young and isn’t close to approaching senior citizenship just yet.

It’s worth noting, though, that her wardrobe change in SF6 makes her look much more mature than she has in past installments. Naturally, this could mean that the developers have decided to age her up just a bit along with the rest of the characters who have similarly received prominent makeovers.

Unfortunately, this is still merely speculation for the time being as it doesn’t seem like Capcom is going to be revealing how old Chun-Li is any time soon. However, this sort of secrecy when it comes to each fighter’s age may just be for the best as we wouldn’t want their appearances to be changed too much in future installments.
