How to earn the “Hang Ten” trophy in Spider-Man 2

In order to earn the Hang Ten trophy in Spider-Man 2, you’re going to have to perform mid-air tricks for at least 30 seconds without touching the ground. This is a lot more complex than it sounds, and you’re going to have to find a really tall skyscraper to make things easier for you. We’d recommend the Oscorp Tower or the Chrysler Building.

The good thing is that you’re going to be able to swing while you’re doing this – so you’re not going to need to do tricks for 30 seconds straight. Another thing you might want to enable in order to earn this trophy is the Air Trick Mode – Toggle Maintain which you can enable in Accessibility settings.

This will let you do tricks for the entire duration of the 30 seconds after only having pressed the button once. You might want to have a look at our comprehensive trophy guide in Spider-Man 2 for more.

Tricked out

Doing tricks in Spider-Man 2 isn’t just show. Performing tricks will earn you XP for doing it, usually 2XP is rewarded each time you perform a single stunt. You can multiply the XP gain by performing many full tricks in one motion. Try and do as many as you can to get some free XP!

The second achievement, SPLAT, is earned by failing to cancel out of a trick before you hit the floor. You will unceremoniously, yet hilariously, splat onto the ground. So, this means you can get an achievement for nailing your tricks and also for failing the landing.

You don’t have to go far out of your way to perform tricks while web-slinging across the city, and it will eventually become second nature since they flow so well with the swinging animations.
