Skull and Bones Turning the Page investigation walkthrough
Before we get into the nitty-gritty of the investigation, let’s break down the quest steps. The following are the different steps required to complete the Turning the Page investigation:
- Bribe the pirate near Scurlock’s hotspot in Sainte-Anne. This will reveal the quest.
- Find the wanted poster for Jacques Sorrel in The Low Tide bar in Sainte-Anne.
- Travel to the settlement called Saint-Amelie and plunder it.
- Travel to the objective marker.
- At the marker, look for the ship called La Plume.
- Speak to Anja Rakotomang at the warehouse in Sainte-Anne.
Before you start this quest, we recommend increasing your ship to rank 11. This is because the mission requires you to take on ships that are rank 10 meaning it is quite advanced.
To start the quest, talk to the pirates near Scurlock’s hotspot in Sainte-Anne. This bribe will begin the investigation. After this, head over to the tavern in Sainte-Anne and search for the wanted poster. Be sure to go to The Low Tide and not the bar where you can activate the Black market.
Pick up the leaflet in the bar. This will give you a clue to go to Saint-Amelie to the southeast of Sainte-Anne on Ile Royale. This is a level 10 settlement that will also get you a fair number of materials and commodities if you manage to successfully plunder it.
Once you complete the plundering of this settlement, you will get an actual objective marker. Travel to this marker and use your Spyglass to find the ship titled “La Plume.” You will need to destroy this vessel to continue on with the investigation. Again, this is a high-level fight so be sure to come prepared.
Battle tactics
Having a high-level ship helps in this fight. Remember to attack from a distance at first and hit weak points when you can. Bombards are a great weapon to use in this fight and so are torpedos. Both weapons can deal a lot of damage quickly and give you an edge.
After this fight, you will get told to travel back to Sainte-Anne and speak with Anja Rakotomang. This is the lady in charge of the warehouse. Once you have spoken to her, the investigation will be complete.
