If you want to buy the Pokémon Indigo Disk DLC, you can do so by going to the Nintendo Store and purchasing the The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Expansion Pass. Pay attention to which version you are purchasing as there is a different expansion pass for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet.

Purchasing the wrong version of the expansion pass will lead to you needing to spend more to get the correct version of the DLC. Those who already purchased the expansion pass for the Teal Mask DLC will already have the Indigo Disk DLC available when it releases in December.

What is included in the Indigo Disk DLC?

As part of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s Indigo Disk DLC, you will travel to Naranja Academy’s sister school Blueberry Academy. You are leaving the Paldea region behind and going to the Unova Region. Here, you will join the Blueberry League, or BB League for short.

In the BB League, you will fight trainers to gain ranks and earn Blueberry Points. After a while, you will even be able to challenge the Elite Four.

You will see familiar characters such as Carmine and Kieran as well as meet new characters such as Lacey, Crispin, Amarys, and Drayton.

More Pokemon than ever before

The Indigo Disk DLC will add more than 80 additional Pokemon to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Among these Pokemon are all the starters from the past generations as well as new legendary Pokemon.

The school has a terrarium that is split into four biomes – each with a different Pokémon. New and returning Pokémon can be found here as well as creatures with new paradox forms. For instance, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Chikorita, and Mudkip – all previous starter Pokémon, will be returning. You will even find Pokémon such as Duraludon, Raging Bolt (Paradox version of Raikou), Iron Crown (Paradox version of Cobalion), and more.

You can get prepared for the release of the DLC by learning all the new and returning Pokémon in the Indigo Disk DLC.

Do I need to buy the Indigo Disk DLC if I own the Expansion Pass?

No. If you own the Expansion Pass, you will already have the Indigo Disk DLC.

Are there different versions of the Indigo Disk DLC available for purchase?

The only versions of the DLC and game-specific versions.
