All new and returning Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Indigo Disk DLC

In total, there are 89 returning Pokémon and four new Pokémon for you to find, collect, train, and battle in the Indigo Disk DLC. As you explore the new grounds as an exchange student and battle trainers, you will want to look for each of these Pokémon. Let’s break down which are new and which Pokémon are returning from previous titles.

All new Pokémon in the Indigo Disk DLC

There are four new pokémon for you to find. The following are being added to the expansion:

  • Terapagos
  • Iron Crown
  • Archaludon
  • Raging Bolt

Terapagos

Terapagos is the cover Pokémon for the DLC that you will see when looking at the cover image on the Nintendo Shop. This turtle-like Pokémon has a standard and a terastal form just like the previous legendary from the Teal Mask DLC. Little is known about this Pokémon at this time.

Iron Crown

Iron Crown is one of the two new and improved legendary Pokémon from past games. Specifically, this is Cobalion from Generation V. Unlike the previous version of this Pokemon that was fighting and steel-type, Iron Crown is psychic and steel-type. Nintendo has also shown off a new move for this Pokémon called Tachyon Cutter.

Archaludon

Another new Pokémon from the DLC. This one will probably be one of the strongest in the BB League. Archaludon is an evolution of Duraludon, the steel and dragon-type Pokémon released in Pokémon Sword and Shield. Little is known about this Pokémon currently such as the evolution method.

Raging Bolt

Raging Bolt is the past paradox form of Raikou. Similar to Iron Crown, the developers changed Raging Bolt’s type from being our electric to electric and dragon. This opens more possibilities for moves. Speaking of moves, Nintendo unveiled the move Thunderclap for Raging Bolt in the Indigo Disk Trailer.

While the addition of new Pokemon is something that everyone will enjoy, there is also a long list of returning Pokemon from previous games that players are sure to get excited about.

More starter Pokemon appear

Every starter Pokemon that hasn’t already made an appearance in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is being added in the Indigo Disk DLC. This means you will truly be able to catch every starter Pokemon in the series.

During this new school trip, you will depart from Paldea and travel to your academy’s sister school where a new world of possibilities will become available. Experience new biomes inside the new terrarium-style school and even explore the ocean as you spot new creatures.

Along with all the new Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet’s DLC, you will also see the return of Kieran and Carmine so be prepared.

Now that you know all the Pokémon in the Indigo Disk DLC, you will also want to know all the exclusive Pokémon in the Teal Mask DLC. Make sure you know how to start the Teal Mask DLC so you can finish it before starting the Indigo Disk.
