Looking for the location of Torchic in the Indigo Disk DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet? This little Chick Pokémon is so cute, they can be hard to resist. But, they’re not that easy to find.
The Indigo Disk Pokédex has over 200 unique Pokémon to collect, and it’s going to take a while to catch them all. Luckily, most you’ll be able to find as you journey through Terarium and complete Blueberry Quests. However, some require some more tenacity. We’re here to show you how to find Torchic in Indigo Disk, and how to evolve them.
Where to find Torchic
Torchic can be found in the Polar Biome of Terarium after it’s been upgraded. After upgrading, this Pokémon can be found in the small cave that is directly South of the Polar Plaza.
To upgrade the Polar Plaza, head to Blueberry Academy and go to the League Club Room. From there, head to the computer and select Contribute BP. Scroll down until you find ‘Boost biodiversity in the Polar Biome’ from the Terarium Club.
Upgrading the Polar Biome will cost you 3,000 BP, so make sure you’ve been grinding quests to earn enough points to upgrade the biome. You won’t be able to find Torchic until this step has been completed.
Grind for Blueberry Points
The best ways to grind for Blueberry Points in the game are to catch specific Pokémon and complete the assigned tasks from Blueberry Academy. It will take a while to reach 3,000 BP though, so get ready to grind.
Once the biome is upgraded, head to the Polar Biome and go directly South of the Polar Plaza. There’s a small cave there where you can find Torchic. Torchic is small, being a little chick, so make sure you’re looking hard.
How to evolve Torchic into Combusken and Blaziken
Now that you’ve got your Torchic, you likely be looking to evolve the Pokémon into its final form, Blaziken. There’s no special trick to evolving this little guy, you just need to keep him in your party so he gains EXP to level up.
Torchic will evolve into Combusken at level 16.
Combusken will then evolve into Blaziken at level 36.
Torchic abilities and stats
Torchic is a Fire-type Pokémon that is weak to Water, Ground, and Rock attacks. This Pokémon has two abilities, Blaze and Speed Boost. Here are the base stats for Torchic:
