The Items Printer is a tool that you can unlock in Pokemon Indigo Disk that uses BP to craft items. When operating this device, you must use Pokemon materials like Pikachu Fur and Doduo Down along with BP to create randomized items.

The Item Printer has different percentages that you can set. The higher the percentage and the more items you are willing to use, the more rewards you will get at one time. This also lets you get more rare rewards.

You can get all sorts of items from the printer such as Poke Balls, evolution stones, evolution items, training items, vitamins, and Tera Shards.

How to unlock and upgrade the Item Printer in Pokemon Indigo Disk

To unlock the printer, go to the League Club Room and use the computer. From there, contribute 200 BP to the Science Club. You will want to select the option that states, “Seeking testers for our Item Printer.”

Once you contribute the points, Reese will appear and install the printer in the League Club Room. From there, you can walk up to the printer to use it any time you are in the club room.

To upgrade the printer, select the “I want to make it better” option. This will allow you to contribute more BP to make it better. You will unlock the upgrades as you print more items in the printer. The upgrades are as follows:

  • Use the printer 30 times
    • Uses Less BP
    • Double item chance
  • Use the printer 80 times
    • Uses less BP and materials
    • Poke Ball Lotto function

These upgrades cost 200 and 500 BP respectively.

How to use the Item Printer in Pokemon Indigo Disk and rewards

To use the Printer, walk up to it and select the “I want to print something” option. From there, you will get a menu like the one in the image below. Use the L and R buttons to determine how many print jobs you want. The more print jobs you want, the higher the required materials will be.

Each material has a percentage next to it that marks how much it puts toward the total percentage. Once you reach the percentage required from the materials, hit the + button to print the items. You can also select the X button to auto-select the items for you. We recommend choosing the items yourself so you know everything that is being consumed.
