Kiriko is an exciting new support hero in Overwatch 2 and the first to be fully unique to the sequel post-launch. This swift ninja healer that wasn’t in the original game can protect her teammates with the aid of a Kitsune spirit and Protection Suzu. And she’s no slouch in the DPS department thanks to the increased damage of her Kunai headshots. She’s a hero that may take time to master but Kiriko’s abilities will be incredibly effective once players have gotten to grips with her.
We’ll help you unlock Kiriko in Overwatch 2 so you can start learning this new support as soon as possible on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation consoles.

Overwatch 2 – Kiriko Explained
Kiriko stands apart from other support heroes in Overwatch 2 thanks to her unique skills, ultimate, and interesting movement options. Kiriko can teleport through walls to reach her teammates that might be in danger. And while her rate of healing might be lacking compared to powerful picks like Mercy, it is supplemented by incredible momentary effects like the Protection Ofuda, saving her teammates from otherwise lethal damage.
How To Unlock Kiriko: Battle Pass
Players that are desperate to try out Kiriko right away are in luck, as it’s possible to access the new hero right away in Overwatch 2. Unfortunately, there’s a catch. Kiriko is only immediately accessible via the Premium Battle Pass and Watchpoint Pack. If you already planned on splashing out for the new battle pass, then Kiriko will be available for you to play straight away. But for those that would rather stick with the free pass, you’ll need to unlock Kiriko in an alternative way.

How To Unlock Kiriko For Free
If you don’t want to shell out for the Premium Battle Pass, don’t worry. Kiriko isn’t locked behind a paywall forever. But in order to unlock Kiriko without paying, you’re going to need to put some serious grind and hours into Overwatch 2.
Kiriko is available via the free version of the Battle Pass, unlocked at Rank 55. Leveling up in Overwatch 2 is currently a slow process, and level 55 will take many hours of play to achieve. But perseverance will eventually be rewarded, and this hero will be yours with enough games under your belt.
