Overwatch 2 Twitch Drops are back and fans of Blizzardā€™s free-to-play co-op shooter are about to get a couple of unique goodies featuring everyoneā€™s favorite heroic hamster. As is now par for the course, fans on games consoles and PC will be able to earn rewards simply by watching their favourite streamers play the game for a set number of hours.

With the Overwatch 2 Season 4 release date practically here, this marks the first set of goodies being given out beginning with a Toolbox spray for Wrecking Ball and a Toolbox souvenir, which you can equip with any hero you want. However, itā€™s currently unclear whether thereā€™ll be more freebies after the initial giveaway period.

Overwatch 2 Twitch Drops ā€“ what can you get?

Blizzard has confirmed that viewers will be able to earn the Toolbox spray for Wrecking Ball ā€œwhen you watch two hours of any Overwatch 2 content on Twitch.ā€ If you watch three more hours of content afterwards, youā€™ll also be able to get the Toolbox souvenir that you can equip with any hero.

According to the official developer blog post, the giveaway event will run from May 9 to May 22 so make sure to tune in during this period to get these unique freebies. Usually, the time watched doesnā€™t have to be the same channel, so you can spend one hour in one channel, and five in another for example ā€“ as long as both channels are playing Overwatch.

Time is accumulative, so Twitch should remember your progress and you donā€™t have to do all six hours in one sitting either. Bear in mind though, that you must claim the Pose before youā€™re eligible for the skin.
