Two Affiliations

As has been the case with each city environment for new-generation players in previous editions, NBA 2K24 comes with neighborhood affiliations as well, but this time is limiting its selection to just two. As many remember, Affiliations were typically broken into four quadrants. But in NBA 2K24, there will only be two Affiliations, RISE and ELITE, that will go up against each other.

Upon the arrival of each Season, members of RISE and ELITE will be able to battle each other to lift their Affiliation to victory, with the winning side and best contributors receiving new rewards. Before even picking a side though, fans will be unaffiliated to start. So it’s entirely up to you to do your research and decide which group best represents you and your passion for basketball.

The Atlantis-themed world of RISE features aquatic accents, such as a majestic Poseidon statue. While the ELITE places players in a futuristic world where neon lights and sleek designs characterise a bright environment, particularly at night.

You saw that correctly! Fans can will be able to earn REP by playing games and will have have to maintain their spots in the Top 10. Locking down a spot in the Top 10 grants fans an exclusive logo and a set of rewards only available to the 10 players with the most REP to their name.

The good news is that REP doesn’t reset at the start of a new Season. But keep in mind that if you do choose to change Affiliations, your REP will reset.
